Call for Papers
Digital Twin, as a recent iconic phrases of fashions, has been coined and
broadened somewhat in that it is now being extensively applied, or rather
used, to characterize a variety of digital simulation models that run
alongside real-time processes that pertain to social and economic systems
as well as physical systems since its inception. It is even conceivable that
latency between when data is received from the basic system and when the
users closest to the system can use is often short enough to enable good
corrective actions. Progress towards Digital Twin will surely enable us to
gain ever deeper insights into the nature of reality and its virtual form.
The 2026 IEEE International Conference on Digital Twin will provide a
high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers, engineers, and
practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations on Digital
Twin, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future
of Digital Twin. We seek submissions of papers which invent new
techniques, introduce innovative methodologies, and propose new
research directions in advanced digital twin theories, methods,
implementations, and applications.
Topics of Interest
The topics include (but are not limited to):
Types of Submissions
The conference welcomes high-quality, original research contributions that advance the scientific and technological foundations of the smart world. Authors are invited to submit their work in one of the following categories:
Full Papers
6 pagesComplete research studies containing significant findings, rigorous methodology, and comprehensive experimental or theoretical results.
Short Papers
4 pagesConcise contributions reporting promising early results, innovative ideas, or ongoing work that is expected to stimulate discussion and further development.
Poster & Demo Papers
2 pagesVisual or interactive presentations showcasing prototypes, systems, applications, or early research results that highlight practical innovations and emerging technologies.
Important: A submission can have at most 2 additional pages with the pages overlength charge, if accepted.
Publication and Indexing
All accepted and presented papers (full, short, and poster/demo) will be considered for the conference proceedings and indexing in major repositories.
IEEE Xplore
Submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Major Databases
Indexed in Elsevier, IET, and Scopus.
Note: For a paper to remain eligible for publication, it must be presented in person (unless otherwise specified). At least one author must register for the conference and deliver the presentation.
Special Issue and Extended Versions
A Special Issue in a high-impact, ISI-indexed journal will be organized in conjunction with the conference. Authors of selected outstanding papers will receive an invitation to submit an extended version of their work.
Information about the journal partner and submission deadlines will be announced soon.
